From experiment to use
The aim is replacement by CBER. Parallel use alongside euros and other currencies is the realistic transition for now. The door enables that transition; ordinary trade can also take place in CBER.
The goal is CBER as the monetary system, with trade inside it using both the Basic Pulse and Luxury Coin. The door enables trade with euros and other currencies. There is no fixed transition date and no requirement to abandon an existing currency.
A payment from the Basic Pulse debits the payer’s available basic budget. The recipient receives that amount as Luxury Coin, free to hold, spend or trade. It does not expire at the end of the payer’s day. Existing fund claims move to the recipient: total issuance and the energy reserve stay unchanged. This payment route is not implemented yet.
First, a reliable engine
The current experiment uses one shared energy reserve. It handles input, coin payments, basic energy, loss and meter recovery. Its amounts are simulated; no real goods, currency or energy are traded.
The stress report checks accounting and exposes unmet basic demand. More participants or less generation can cause shortages. A bank decision cannot create energy.
Then, trade in CBER
Payments for ordinary goods and services must work inside CBER. Both Luxury Coin and available Basic Pulse budgets may be used. Work can also be paid in CBER when the parties agree. Trade is not restricted to energy businesses or solar-panel owners.
Coin transfers already exist in the engine. Paying a merchant from the Basic Pulse is not built yet. Its specification must cover debits, receipt as Luxury Coin, refunds and expired daily entitlements without duplicate issuance.
Next, connection to other currencies
CBER is freely tradable in the design, including for people interested only in the currency. A market where they buy and sell CBER against euros or other currencies belongs at the door. That market is not built yet.
Rates, fees, available counterparties and final settlement must be explicit. Energy backing does not promise a fixed euro rate or a guaranteed buyer.
Grow from demonstrated results
A real pilot needs reliable meters, operations, privacy protection and assessment of applicable rules. This text does not claim that a future installation already satisfies those rules.
A larger reserve or cooperation between operators comes next. Federation has its own specification. CBER does not have to operate nationwide before enabling local trade.
What remains a choice?
Parties agree which currency they use. A payment in CBER stays inside. Exchange between CBER and another currency goes through the door. Buying a house or laptop makes no difference; the currencies involved do.
